Designed as a quick project, #581 Taille Pocket Bag, fits around the waist to hold necessities. This is the perfect carryall for the essentials—phone, ID, credit cards, cash—when pockets are not available. Wonder where the name came from? Taille is the French word for waistline. With 2 zipper pockets—the main zipper opening on the front side with a short zipper pocket on the inside, webbing is used to fit the Taille Bag securely around the waist with a slide release buckle. Pattern includes 3 ways to construct the bag. Two designs are a waistline bag and the third is a pouch. The shorter finished style is 7” wide x 7” long x 1½” deep, the longer style is 7” wide x 9” long x 1½” deep and the pouch is 4” wide x 6” long x 2’ deep. It is quite easy to adjust the size of any of these projects by altering the fabric size.* The Taille Pocket Bag is a Serger/Overlocker friendly project. It is perfect to showcase other thread arts. *When adjusting the size of the fabric, make certain that the zipper is as wide or slightly wider than the fabric.
