First Sampler Vest

This is the first sampler vest created while experimenting with sewing embellishment techniques combined with patchwork. Paper piecing, prairie points, spiral patchwork, 2 varieties of pintucks with a double needle, couching of heavy threads & narrow ribbons are assembled with entredeaux beading between each section. To accent the beading or faggoting, is a double layer of ribbon tied in a knot so that the colors flip.

Size large for 38-40″ bust.
