A techniques person who loves to mix & match pattern ideas to make things uniquely her own, Linda likes to tweak a pattern – even her own patterns, because:

• Using a different fabric than suggested may require different techniques in construction
• The size may need slight adjustments to fit special needs
• The straps could use different construction
• There is an easier or new zipper application

We’ll use 2 patterns – the #741 Bellino and the #791 Roundabout in this webinar to create backpacks to fit our modern styles. There are updated tips & tricks to use zippers or zipper yardage to make the zippers any size-one is a zipper in the straps, while the other is a lined zipper. Of course appropriate sewing feet that make the task easier are mentioned.
