Inspired by the Box Bag Templates from Linda Winner of Winner Designs, Linda McGehee has created a new bag pattern. Make the large size—a duffel bag—from the Large Box Bag Template or a handbag from the Small Box Template. Use a double slide zipper for the main closure. There are 2 outside pockets. Both are made with zipper closure. An alternative is to make 1 pocket with zipper closure & the other as an open pocket with zipper trim. Inside, there are 6 open pockets for storage plus a secret zipper pocket. With a double strap to handle the weight of contents, this is a perfect bag for travel, exercise class or whatever occasion to use a big tote. You will be amazed how easy it is to assemble the “L” bag. Corners & all, it is quick & easy. The handbag offers 2 different options for the top zipper opening with multiple pockets inside.
