This vest has a shirt tail finish at the lower edge. Choose from 3 lengths, shirt length, tunic, and duster length. Beginning spiral patchwork, crinkling and couching add to the basics in the pattern. Use the 3 pair button arrangement combined with small handbag chain as a front closure.

She has added Two Ideas to the Shirt Tail Pattern #595 that give this wonderful basic incredible new looks. Add a lined yoke to a tunic or duster length. The unlined body of the vest is soft and flowing. Use a stripe or plaid and fussy cut for variety. For the machine or longarm quilters, remove the side seam allowances for continuous stitching around the body and no bulk at the seams.

Woven Vest Pattern #995
The centered front closing overlaps using a 3 or 4 button arrangement with options of 23 1/2 or 29 1/2 inch back neck length. The pattern includes a one piece woven yoke design, using torn strips or the Fasturn Tool® with fringe or no fringe options. Omit the yoke for an entirely different look, or line it to create a versatile collar.
